How Can you tell if you are Hiring a Reliable Business?

Reliable is an adjective used quite often by businesses describing the type of customer service they provide. Sometimes it may seem a bit redundant, but nevertheless it is an important word. Who wants to hire a service that isn't reliable? Reliability and professionalism go hand in hand.

But bragging about reliability and really being reliable are not quite the same. How can you tell if a business you are considering the services of is really reliable?

Use Google (or another search engine that you prefer) and type in the name of the business you are considering...see what comes up... You may find their website, Twitter and/or Facebook accounts, possible online reviews, advertisements, magazine or newspaper articles, and more. There are also websites that will provide you with claims customers have made.

If its a local business you are considering, ask around. It might sound like an old cliche' but word of mouth is still a very good thing.

Ask for references. Any reputable business that has been around for awhile should be able to provide you with at least one checkable reference; and don't feel bad about really checking.

You can also get a good feel for how responsible a business or business owner is from the way they respond to you. Are they polite and friendly? Are they able to fully answer your questions? Do they return your phone calls and emails? Do they show up on time? Trust your instincts.

If you are planning a wedding, Bar Mitzvah, or other event for a special ocassion, be rest assured that if you use the services of West Coast Valet Naples, you are getting valet service at its best! Reliability, professionalism, and efficiency... For any type of business you are seeking, never settle for less.

WEST COAST VALET Naples: Good Work Ethics Means Good Business

WEST COAST VALET Naples: Good Work Ethics Means Good Business

Good Work Ethics Means Good Business

Maintaining a good work ethic demonstrates to others how well you work and carry out your responsibilities; it lets others know about the type of person you are. According to Wikipedia, "Work ethic is a set of values based on hard work and diligence."

Upholding a strong work ethic carries a lot of weight and goes a long way in preserving a good reputation for your business. Good work ethics conveys how you do business. This includes the attitude you portray to others and your behavior and respect- particulary in stressful situations. Good communication and interaction are also very important. Returning calls and emails promptly (and positively) shows a strong work ethic.

Of course not everything always goes smoothly all of the time, no matter how much you plan ahead and focus on the task at hand. How you handle mishaps, a possible disappointed client, or other situation, says a lot about your character.

As owner of West Coast Valet, I've learned in all business matters there is always a positive resolution and suitable outcome...maintaining a level head and professional demeanor is extremely important.

Being accountable, reliable, and honest builds stronger relationships with customers, clients, and employees, and makes good business sense!

Valet Parking has a Spot in Southwest Florida's Beautiful Landscape

Like water with lemon, or butter on freshly baked bread, Valet Parking certainly has a spot in Naples, Florida. The valet stands with uniformed attendants are familiar sightings in front of popular, upscale restaurants, country clubs, night clubs, hotels, and even private residences hosting special events.

For customers and guests, valet parking provides elegant door to door service that is considered a convenience, particularly in bad weather. It also adds a touch of ambience to the evening.

Others might consider valet parking a nuisance, feeling forced to turn their keys over to someone they don"t know or feel obligated to pay a valet parking fee. In many cases however, the venue typically works out an arrangement with the valet parking service they hire so that patrons don't have to pay for this service; the fee for valet parking is taken care of in advance by the restaurant or country club.

An experienced, reliable valet parking company also hold certifcates of insurance, provide training and background checks on all of their employees, and consults with the hiring venue well in advance to ensure smooth transitions (and work out any possible glitches in advance.)

For those who are still a bit unsure about handing their keys over, consider the venue you are visiting...if the type of service they provide to their customers is of the highest level, than be rest assured they won't skimp out on anything else, including the valet parking company they hire.

Does your Business or Establishment Need Valet Parking?

If you are the owner, manager, or director of a restaurant, country club, hospital, or other hospitality venue, or a residential owner planning a large special event, you might be considering the use of a valet parking service but are unsure if it would be beneficial. Here are a few things to take into consideration before you decide whether or not to use a valet parking company.

  • Location ~ Consider your location. Are you in a high traffic, busy area? Is the parking limited, inconvenient, confusing, or not close enough? If so, your customers (or guests) will appreciate the convenience of pulling right up to your entrance and leaving the parking to a valet attendant. Not having to circle around to find a parking spot, walk through a crowded parking lot, or walk a block or so will make a big difference for your guests.
  • Weather ~ If you are expecting inclement weather for a special event, (a wedding for example), the hiring of a valet parking company will prove beneficial for you, your guests, and for the sucess of the event. This will also give you one less thing to worry about and your guests will be grateful that you took this extra measure for them. You might even have been expecting great weather, but at the very last minute the weather calls for rain. Even in a pinch, a valet company may still be able to come to your aid.

  • What type of establishment are you? ~ Are you the owner of an upscale restaurant? Are you managing a private country club? Are you rated a five star restaurant? Most people who frequent an upscale venue for dinner or a special event have an expectation of being greeted by a valet attendant. A valet parking service also provides your venue with a higher level of service and gives it a professional, polished appearance.
  • Your customers or guests ~ Are the majority of your guests/patrons typically the kind who appreciate valet parking or would use it? Would some of them have limited mobility or physical handicaps that would best be served by providing valet service?
Take a few moments to consider the information above. It wil help you to decide how beneficial a valet parking company will be for you. Most valet companies provide a free on-site consultation that may also help you with your decision.
If you need additional information, or have any questions, please feel free to send me an email. We welcome your comments!

Inclement Weather? A Valet Can Be Your Savior!

You are all dresed up...new shoes, a great dress, expensive slacks. Your hair even looks perfect, you spent a lot of time on it after all. Let's face it, no one wants to show up at a special event or social gathering soaking wet.
This is where a valet parker can be a "knight in shining armor"... or at the very least someone who can let you out at the entrance of the venue you'll be attending and perhaps escort you right to the door holding a large umbrella over your head. Not only would that be great, it is something you can certainly expect from a reliable valet company.

A good valet company "trains" their employees (and screens for things like "safe driving" records too.) As owner of one of the longest running valet companies in Naples, Florida, (West Coast Valet) I know how important courtesy and respect are. Not only do I need my drivers to be safe, careful drivers...I need my drivers to respect another's property, be respectful of their time, and always show courtesy to the patrons.

I place a lot of value on good customer service, and that is what I expect from anyone I hire because they represent me and they represent my company. Part of good customer service is being friendly, polite, patient, extremely careful with each vehicle, and going above and beyond...especially in inclement weather.

South West Florida is known for having torrential down pours...our patrons have come to appreciate and rely on the service we provide in these situations. Door to door service, a large umbrella held over your head, and even a towel to wipe down your seat before you enter your car. For these reasons, a valet parker can be your savior in the rain and make a big difference in how your night turns out.
